The complex of Khafra is composed by the pyramid surrounded by the mortuary temple, common to all the main pyramids in the valley of Giza, a secondary Cult Pyramid. Following the causeway, there are the valley temple and the Sphinx, protecting the access to the burial of the Pharaoh. The pyramid has been built at a ground level 10m higher then the Great Pyramid one, so it appears taller then its actual size.
